Virgin hair is hair that has never been chemically colored or lightened before. A virgin tint is specifically designed for first-time color clients, as virgin hair processes color differently than previously colored hair.

Virgin tint is formulated and applied specifically for hair that's never been colored. Virgin hair is more porous and absorbs color more readily, so we use careful technique and timing to support even results on your first color service.

Virgin tint can darken your natural color or add rich tones, but it cannot lighten your hair. To go lighter than your natural color, you would need a lightening service (virgin lightener) first. We'll discuss all your options during consultation.

Virgin tint typically lasts 6-8 weeks before you'll need a root touch-up. After your first color, you'll transition to regular tint retouch services to maintain your new color.

When applied properly by professionals, virgin tint should cause minimal damage. We use quality products and can add bond treatments to protect your hair during the coloring process. Your hair may actually look shinier and healthier after coloring!
